Lead Graphic Designer

Designity is your on-demand, virtual creative team - a design tech startup backed by Audible! We have spent five years perfecting the first virtual design model that allows U.S-Based freelance creatives to team up and collaborate on design and marketing projects. Our collaborative model is so unique and mutually beneficial for both creatives and clients, it has enabled us to double our revenues each year for the past five years, with 2020 being our strongest growth year despite the pandemic.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of something huge and disruptive as you’ll be responsible for bringing compelling imagery and storytelling to our brand new collaborative design platform, whilst also redesigning our entire brand identity in every facet. This platform we are building will enable us to scale our proven model, and revenues ten-fold, becoming a brand every creative knows. It's a hands-on, highly collaborative, and detail-oriented job, where you must be able to thrive in ambiguity and execute autonomously, and where you can bring a creative and analytical approach to understanding and solving all kinds of branding and positioning problems. The position is perfect for someone who has a unique creative vision, all the visual design and organizational skill sets needed to execute on it.

Responsibilities
  • Create the ideal aesthetic and functional experience to convey our brand & story globally.
  • Quickly and iteratively translate broad concepts, ideas and themes into dazzling designs, messaging and positioning.
  • Collaborate closely with the leadership to completely redesign our entire brand identity.
  • Participate in ideation, conceptual development and bring large impact to the UI of our user centric digital platform.
  • Create a comprehensive brand guideline to define our imagery, font, icons, and more.
  • Evaluate effectiveness of branding strategies and share results to assist in shaping future efforts.
  • Develop comprehensive timelines and manage stakeholder expectations on brand related project work such as social media post designs, sales decks, and other marketing collaterals.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or advanced degree in graphic design/advertising or any related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in graphic design, with a focus on brand design and strategy.
  • Expert visual design skills, with a strong branding portfolio demonstrating successful campaigns.
  • Expert knowledge of all aspects of a branding process, including research, testing and implementation.
  • You are self-driven, and possess a creative entrepreneurial mindset that allows you to thrive in ambiguity.
  • Experience in working on digital platforms is a plus!
