Sales Development Representative (Remote)

Designity is a design tech startup backed by Audible! The first virtual design platform that allows U.S-Based creatives to team up and collaborate on design and marketing projects. This is an exciting opportunity to champion a truly disruptive product as our Sales Development Representative, where you will be responsible for taking our product to market and generating sales activity and new business opportunities.

In our fifth year we have a proven subscription model which will enable you to hit the ground running, all while earning uncapped commissions plus a base salary. This is a great position to have a lot of impact in a startup environment, and manage the sales process from start to finish.

As our sales development representative, you will be involved in generating leads through different channels and consulting with potential clients to offer them the best solutions for their design and marketing needs.

Responsibilities
  • Identify new business opportunities and key stakeholders, taking deals swiftly and thoughtfully through our sales process from discovery to close.
  • Virtually meet with new customers to demonstrate our platform's value, influence long-term strategic direction, and evangelize solutions that will help them meet their challenges and reach their goals.
  • Evaluate effectiveness of sales strategies and tactics and share results to assist in shaping future efforts.
  • Demonstrate timely actioning of leads, proposals and prospect pitch follow-ups.
  • Consistently meet quarterly and annual quota and revenue goals.
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of direct sales and new business sales experience.
  • Design, marketing or advertising background is a serious plus.
  • This person must have a proven track record for consistently delivering on or exceeding revenue goals.
  • Proven ability to establish meaningful connections, by understanding how people think, determining what they value, what motivates them, what they need, and how they’re decision process is influenced.
  • You are self-driven, highly motivated, organized, team-oriented and possess a creative entrepreneurial mindset that allows you to thrive in ambiguity.

Chief Marketing Officer (Remote)

In 3 years Designity will be a name that every creative knows, and we need someone who is excited to tell our story and work closely with creatives of all levels and walks of life to make a tremendous impact on the digital marketing and design landscape.

As a CMO you will be responsible for strategizing and executing on marketing campaigns, for driving adoption of our platform amongst creatives and our clients, and for shaping an innovative virtual community that allows both sides to come together to learn and collaborate.

Responsibilities
  • Act as a lead strategist and manager across all marketing functions and paid digital marketing campaigns.
  • Develop plans to drive customer activation, engagement, retention and loyalty through compelling and distinct value propositions.
  • Establishing KPI’s, tracking performance, measuring, analyzing and adjusting digital campaigns, in flight.
  • Develop and optimize content for our website, email campaigns and social networking accounts such as Facebook and Twitter.
  • Attain key performance indicators such as reducing the website bounce rate, increasing dwell time or improving conversion.
  • Strategize, launch, and optimize campaigns across Google & social media.
  • Continually work on the Search Engine Optimization of the website(s).
  • Staying on top of current marketing and technology trends and providing digital thought leadership to Marketing and the organization as a whole.
Qualifications
  • 8+ years marketing experience including 5-7 years of digital marketing experience.
  • Previously been responsible for strategic marketing, branding, communications, social marketing, advertising, product marketing, consumer insights and creative direction.
  • A creative background and/or experience with marketing two sided marketplaces within a startup environment is a big plus.
  • Digital marketing experience including the use of data analytics, tag management, digital vendor management, and digital advertising.
  • Experience in consumer segmentation and targeted, personalized marketing, leveraging digital technologies.
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking; can interpret data and analytics to optimize marketing ROI and performance.
  • Experience identifying content necessary to support effective digital marketing presence.
  • Experience messaging and engaging audiences on social platforms.

UIUX Designer (Remote)

We are hiring a full-time UX/UX Designer to work on our innovative collaborative design platform. It’s a role that will allow tons of autonomy and zero monotony. The ideal candidate should know the two-sided marketplaces and creatively design the best user experience for all the stakeholders.

  • Design the interface for the first collaborative online design platform where creatives can signup, get verified, and collaborate with others on design and marketing projects.
  • Create the ideal aesthetic and functional experience for our internal users and clients.
  • Translate innovative UX/UI design into user flows, sitemaps, wireframes, and visual designs.
  • Present your designs thoughtfully in both written and visual format, with an ability to defend deliverables to peers and stakeholders.
  • Serve as a User Experience evangelist promoting design guidelines, best practices, and standards.
Qualifications
  • A love of creating user journeys and innovative UIUX design and wireframes.
  • 5+ years of experience in UX/UI design and creating intuitive web interfaces.
  • Strong foundation in all aspects of the design process especially creating user flows, sitemaps, wireframes, and visual designs.
  • Expert visual design skills, with a strong portfolio focusing on multi stakeholder marketplaces or similar.
